Originally I was not certain if Percy was on this, so below are my original thoughts as to the bass player on this recording. I read that Percy was not the bass player at this show. Well, after listening to it, I cannot confirm or deny it. I can say that many of the Percy trademarks are here (the harmonics, the single note pings, etc.). In this regard, it definitely sounds like Percy. However, the actual playing sounds much too slow and stagnant to be Percy. Still, most of my Brand X listening experience has been in the 1970's and 1992 era, when he was younger and more nimble. So, it is possible that this is the playing style of the older Percy. Afterall, ALL musicians loose considerable playing skills as they age. Steve Howe is a shadow of his former self during his peak (IMO 1971-1974). Any thoughts on who the bass player is would be very welcomed.
